Parker Cook & Craft

An artisanal brand built out end to end, with a fully developed design system behind it.

01

The Problem

An artisanal food brand needs to survive contexts most identities never face: a curved jar label, a printed recipe spread, a storefront, and a phone screen — often on the same day.

A logo alone could not carry that. The brand needed rules, not just a mark.

02

The Process

Built outward from the seal: palette, lettering, and the printed matter the mark had to live on were designed together rather than in sequence.

Translated the letterforms into a type scale, then locked semantic colour tokens and spacing rules so decisions stop being re-litigated per asset.

Documented every pattern so someone else can extend the brand without losing the hand that drew it.

03

The Outcome

A complete system — tokens, type scale, spacing, and component patterns — that holds from a jar label to a recipe spread to the storefront.

Minority and neurodivergent owned, est. 2017. The guidelines are published, so growth no longer depends on the original designer being in the room.
